As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving long-term customer value. This position will report to the Head of Account Management, helping customers maximise the benefits of their investments. Our focus is on growth by enhancing customer retention, expanding accounts, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. We prioritise open, honest communication to support each other’s development and success, fostering a culture of continuous learning and strong team bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise Customer Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing commitment. Proactively address potential issues and provide solutions to prevent churn.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to boost product adoption and expand customer engagement. Use data-driven insights to customise solutions that align with customer needs and strategic goals.
  • Account Expansion: Engage strategically with customers to understand their evolving requirements, introducing new features or solutions to broaden the scope of services used.
  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and how they can solve specific customer challenges.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the Client Success team to ensure smooth onboarding, seamless implementation, and ongoing engagement to help customers achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment in customer growth strategies and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Analyse and Strategise: Monitor customer data and key metrics to track account health, identifying opportunities for growth or areas needing intervention.
  • Maintain a Robust Sales Pipeline: Keep an organised record of upsell and expansion opportunities in the CRM (Salesforce) and provide accurate forecasts.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a focus on customer retention and growth.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue growth targets through upselling, cross-selling, and maintaining high retention rates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Norwegian and English.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • A data-driven approach, with the ability to use insights to inform decision-making.
