Should you share your salary on your CV?

Why don’t you put your desired salary/salary expectations on your CV? 
 
It seems that 2021’s LI positing and like hunting theme has been around chastising any company that dares to share a job description without the salary details attached (heaven help them if they say competitive salary available).
 
And look, for the most part, I agree. Transparency throughout the recruitment process is key.
 
So, if prior to applying for a role, salary details are crucial to you, why are you not letting your potential future employer know your expectations as well? 
 
Surely sharing this would be beneficial so that you are going into a recruitment process with all the cards on the table
 
I’ve reviewed a few CVs in my time, but I am yet to see anyone share their salary expectations on their CV or as part of their job application. 
 
Should we expect both the advertiser and the applicant to share salary details before they ever speak?
