Position: Product Owner

Location: Stockholm, hybrid/flexible

Salary: 50-60k SEK (DOE)

We are looking to hire an experience Product Owner to join a leading Nordic SaaS company. You will lead the development and evolution of their products, as well as playing a key role in aligning product vision with business goals, managing the product lifecycle, and driving innovation through data-driven decisions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to lead agile teams.
  • Experience in analyzing market trends and competitors to inform product strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather and integrate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in managing budgets and timelines.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Product Vision: Maintain a clear, strategic vision for the product that aligns with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Product Performance: Regularly assess the product’s performance, ensuring it meets market needs and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Competitor & Market Analysis: Analyze competitors and market trends to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Input: Collect feedback from customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to continuously refine the product strategy.

2. Product Management:

  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure product positioning is compelling and aligns with overall product strategy.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap that outlines priorities and timelines for stakeholders.
  • Business Cases: Develop business cases for new product initiatives, detailing expected costs, benefits, and ROI.
  • Analytics: Leverage product analytics to track user behavior and make data-driven decisions for continuous product improvement.

3. Project Management:

  • Agile Methodology: Champion agile practices to manage product development, encouraging continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Requirements/User Stories: Gather and prioritize requirements and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment with the product vision.
  • Budget & Timelines: Oversee product budgets and timelines, efficiently allocating resources to achieve product goals.

4. Iteration Planning:

  • Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions to define the scope and objectives for each sprint based on the product backlog.
  • Sprint Collaboration: Be available to the development team to address questions and help remove impediments throughout the sprint.
  • Sprint Review: Participate in sprint reviews to ensure product quality and alignment before moving to production.
